The place has not changed much inside. Maybe some new paint and a separation has been added in the dining room The sinks in the men bathroom kept its old dark caulking! For service, the staff needs to be educated on greeting new customers and to say Thank you for your visit etc.. when you leave. Plates should be coming out with at least 2 utensils (like a spoon and a fork). e.g. Serving Char Kuey Teow with one fork is not very convenient. My review of the food: Rendang beef: Tasty and fairly tender, different taste than some other Malaysian restaurants in town. Sambal Green bean: For me too much salt! Pulut Hitam: The rice was not tender enough. Need more time to be cooked. Coconut Rice: OK Although we are being cahrged for vontainers and bag, the price is a little too high: $.50 for bags, and $.50 per container. As you can see, a mixture of goods and bads. The Thai-Style Green Curry with mixed seafood delivered decent flavors, meeting expectations without exceeding them. The pork satay stood out as the best among the three meat options – tender and well-spiced. Singapore Laksa offered a comforting broth, though slightly milder than traditional versions. While dishes generally matched anticipated quality, service pacing needs attention; meal gaps between courses felt prolonged. A solid option for casual dining if timing isn't urgent. We had a wonderful dining experience at Sedup Plus Malaysian Cuisine! Food was absolutely delicious — every dish was packed with layers of authentic Malaysian flavors. The Satays were tender and flavorful, and the Sambal Shredded Chicken had the perfect balance of spice and richness. We also loved the crispy Prawn Cake and fluffy Roti — both were so satisfying! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt taken care of throughout our meal. We’re already looking forward to coming back to try even more dishes. Highly recommend! The flavors are authentic and rich — the Sambel Shredded Chicken is Sedap (yum)! The Satays was tender and packed with spices, and the laksa had just the right kick. Amongst all, personally I love the Roti the best. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, making it a great spot for lunch/dinner. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Malaysian food! Alison Wong2025-05-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recommend the roti and enjoyed the bubur cha cha! Satay, laksa, and dry curry tilapia were also yummy!
